I said he lost to Ross Puritty. But never said it was a title defence or even a title fight. And I wasnt calling Wlad a bum, I was merely stating that every HW is open to being knocked out when not in their prime due to the nature of the sport

 

I only brought up the Puritty fight as someone said Jack Johnson, at 37 and having been a pro for 14 years already, was in his prime against Jess Willard

AS i said no matter how **** you may think the Adameks, Povetkins, Pulevs are,( which i see that you don't hold in high regards since you think some dinosaur from 100 years ago has a chance to beat them) they're still 100% superior to anything Jack Johnson has ever fought and i have videos to back up my statement.

Jack Johnson's style would be absolutely obsolete, and if he thinks that an 160lbs Choynski or Ketchel hit hard then he would be in for a very big surprise even against pillow handed boxers like Adamek.

Obviously you seem like massively clued up on historical boxing, so you will know that Jack Johnson never really 'went for it' in the ring. He was more than happy hurting guys and letting them recover rather than finishing them off! Like it or not, he was a master of defence. What makes you think Povetkin's limit onslaught would get to him?

He fought a 6 year old retired Jeffries and a bunch of 5ft.6 midleweights....hell he couldn't even beat some of them :rofl.

Probably cause Johnson is most known for beating white guys, so they just assume he could come in and beat those two white guys that rule the division now.
