    awesome!

I never seen the full version. I never saw the wrestling part, great stuff. I wonder how the "hand on the back of the neck" technique would have fared on him! Probably not so well lol.

I have a few clips of this in HD in my JJ tribute, but man that clinching segment was awesome

Johnson looked to be in awesome condition, remember that this was a hundred years ago, and his parrying defense looks sharp.

That was immense at about the 0:48sec mark on when the guy was try to yank his head down using both his hands and all his body weight and leverage - and Johnson basically gave him his head and let him go for it and just tried to tense up and remain rigidly up - and the guy couldn't pull him down - that was tremendous physical strength right there - immense

yea lol he was basically spinning that guy with the back of his neck. That little bit was probably something they planned ahead of time, but theres nothing fake about the strength in Johnsons neck.

It's awesome to see the progression of technique from Bluto to Johnson to Popeye.

Actually in the clips of Darcy sparring and fighting he looks heaps better than Johnson in terms of technique, footwork and attack and that's just 8 short years later.

Not saying he was greater or anything but Darcy certainly seems ahead of his time compared to Johnsons milling, parrying, one punch at a time style.

Too bad they didn't catch the moment when he opens the can of spinach with his pipe.
