Replacing Ketchell against Jack Johnson, we have the great lightheavy Billy Conn.
This fight is scheduled for 20 rounds.

And this fight is on the straight, not like the shady Ketch fight with JJ!

So can Billy take Johnsons crown??

I doubt it. He moves better, but he's kinda small compared to Johnson.

He is small compared to Jack but there s that in mind, how fast he was against Louis.

If he could do the same here, keeping his cool and not letting Johnson work at him inside with that upper cut, then a slight chance maybe he gets a decision.

20 rounds maybe a little too long to keep away from Jack tho maybe.

It's winnable for Billy stylistically, I think, but still pretty tough.
Conn had a slight edge in height iirc, Johnson a bit longer in reach and heavier. Jack will be stronger and the 20 rounds distance would be to Johnson's advantage as well.

The safe bet is Jack for me, later rounds stoppage or points.

Yep, sounds OK to me does that.
Wouldn't surprise me tho if Jack was behind on the cards, for at least half of the fight.

Conn was a better boxer and almost beat Louis had he not decided to exchange with him. I'd go with Conn. Lesser fighters have defeated Johnson.

He would probably have success, but I think sent back in time to a 20 rounders his chances of winning would be almost nil

Johnson stops him in the 20th round in a fight he is losing badly on points.

IMHO, Conn's style would not be a problem for Johnson, the way it was for Louis in the first fight. Jack would have smiled a lot in this fight, on his way to an easy decision win or late round KO.
