Would a prime Johnson be able to use his defensive skills to thwart the offense of a prime George Foreman?

Foreman destroys him in few rounds.

I have a feeling Jack Johnson was greater as a boxer than the modern fans realize. When he won the title it wasn't like he was setup for success. He had so much going on against him from his own country. I would have liked to see him have a chance to defend his title without being chased from his home.

Anyway Foreman is tough test for anyone. He gonna attack like a physcopath with those wrecking balls. I don't think Johnson will be crouching into those uppercuts. He's gonna make George box some.

Will Foreman's parachute land if he doesn't get Jack out early? Is OK strong enough to tie him up when necessary.

I think Johnson would do something similar to Ali. Maybe not lay on the ropes but he would blunt Foreman's attack.
