Johnson dominates. He controls Frazier in close and completely nullifies his only path to victory his left hook. Johnson via decision winning most rounds.

No chance whatsoever. Johnson lived to fight the one trick sluggers.

Very tough stylistic matchup for Johnson. Probably one of the worst.

    I’d favor a FOTC motivated Frazier 55/45

Frazier overwhelms him with pace, activity, skill and footwork. Johnson never faced such a force, nothing close in the 205 pound package that was Frazier.

Joe holds the single greatest victory in the history of the division. Johnson beat Tommy Burns. Do the math.

Frazier's body attack, power and workrate give Johnson fits and his bob and weave befuddles Johnson's one shot at a time style.

Johnson may have some success with the uppercut inside but he'd be open to Joe's hook when he delivers it and I expect Frazier to exploit this.

Frazier by a late stoppage while well up on the cards.

Frazier TKO 15th. Joe had precision and accuracy with both hands. Frazier's punches are hard to pick up because he is coming in low getting inside.
The consistant, solid body attack sets up those thunder hooks to the head.
I think Jack is caught in a bad style match up in this one. He was a great fighter though.

This. As much as I like Frazier, since he never gave a boring performance Johnson is a horrible style matchup for him. Every dirty trick Ali and Foreman pulled on Frazier would be twice as bad with Johnson. It took Archie Moore and Joe Louis almost no time at all to figure out how to have Foreman neutralize Frazier. Even Futch admitted that Frazier had a bad habit of standing directly in front of his opponent, which is why he ate a lot of clean punches against Ali and Foreman and that he was never able to completely break Frazier's habit of doing that Unfortunately Marvis also picked up some of Joe's bad habits as a fighter. Johnson would exploit all of these mistakes.

Johnson. Too strong on the inside, he ties up Frazier like he did that big giant of an ex champ. Outside, Frazier has to lunge.

The nearest to Frazier that Johnson fought would probably be 205lbs Sam McVey a noted left hooker.Johnson beat the **** out of him3 times stopping him in their last fight.Just an observation.
