Johnson was known as the greatest in terms of feinting and blocking. He was very difficult to hit with a left hook. His blocking skills were second to none.

Second to none in his era is no great endorsement.

Great technical boxing is great technical boxing. Johnson was the highest level of skill in this respect. No hwt today exhibits such a skill set. You don’t bring a fighter to the table such as Frazier to beat prime Johnson. Way too one dimensional offensively to pose Johnson a great challenge. All he needs to do is shut down one punch and he had every skill in the book to do so. Johnson states himself he never had an issue beating “left hookers”. You never see him troubled by that blow on film and his blocking ability would attest to it.

There's at least 3 HWs today who beat Johnson

And the jury's still out on Ruiz and Joshua

Great video discussing Johnsons ability to control opponents inside.
Prime Johnson was also nearly impossible to hit from distance.

    Great.

Let me know when you want to claim that Frazier closes the gap with a static offense, zero footwork and zero head movement. To make the question simpler... let me know when Frazier is the mere equivalent of Stanley Ketchel or Tommy Burns or a tired old amateur like Jeffries.

Simple argument from the class simpleton. Your claim can be said of any past champion but it’s a highly disingenuous claim. Johnson would LOOK to work inside with Frazier and would beat him senseless there. Johnsons ability to CONTROL an opponent inside would allow him to dominate any opponent. Especially one who over relied upon just one punch. Easy pickings for a ATG boxer.
