gotta think about this guys. one of the most gifted defensive, box on the back foot, heavyweight fighters, i have seen ( big jack ) against one of the best come forward fighters we have seen in our beloved sport.
for me, if time was linked i think jack maybe would of found a way to elude mike but whats the opinion of you chaps?? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubUrl4YU2QE[/ame] check the boy out.

zomg Johnson iz the greatest defensive heavyweight fighter of all time and all his recorded fights were in black&white television only...Johnson by way of schooling!

naw seriously, Tyson by mid TKO, Johnson maybe wins the first round.

I usually pick the oldies, but even tho I might pick Tyson, I don't think he'd have an easy time doing it.

Johnson fought lumbering farmhands. Tyson would destroy him.

Tyson would beat the dog**** outa him, for realz. I dont even have to think about this one.. Call me crazy but i think Johnson is overrated like a mutha****a.. He's only famous because of the era which he fought in but for realz, his skills are very primitive and tyson would dog em out quick..

The eras are way different. Guys in johsons era fought for light bill money. Tysons comp were well groomed athletes. That's why it's difficult to compare fighters in vastly different eras. I assume we're talking about modern rules and equimpment. In that case Tyson crushes Johnson. If Tyson is fighting in Johnson era Johnson wins just as easy. To sumit up it's pretty redundent to speculate.

No disrespect to those who romantize bout the old school fighter but Tyson would crush em... Johnson would be no different than any other Tyson's victims.. like seriously.

Johnson was the best of his time. Would have no chance against any current top ten heavyweight.

odds are johnson blocks and counters tyson for a couple rounds, mocks him, when tyson can't beat him under 5 he walls up inside, fails to come from behind and loses all heart and johnson kos him.

    everyone laughs.

Johnson actually fought a fighter a lot like Tyson, Sam McVey. Stopped his swarming, countered him and wrecked him to the face and body, beat him up so bad for 20 rounds that McVey never wanted to fight him again.

oh good lord, just shut the **** up.

Tyson backhands him out of the ring in the first few seconds of the first round, then goes and finds some bitches to haul across state lines.
