I saw a great film study on Johnson but Qawi looked better on youtube, if Johnson is allowed to clinch like in his day then that would give him an edge, boring fighter though and Qawi`s defense was great.

I like Jack .. even thought Qwai was strong I feel Jack was stronger , that he's smother him and rob him big time w uppercuts .. good match up though ..

These two are among the two strongest and most physical fighters of all time. Qawi was an absolute animal of a man, a one in a hundred million genetic freak. Jack Johnson too was renowned for feats of strength, he used to supposedly bend horse shoes with his bare hands and hold back horses, one on each arm, as well.

It depends on the rules. Are we going Johnsons day or modern?

    Scheduled for 15 rounds
clinching rules are from Johnson's era

Qwai's power was good at light heavyweight, but average at cruiserweight, which in his day had a 190-pound weight limit.

He was a solid boxer, but I think he'd fall into Johnson's trap often. Johnson's specialty was clamping down on shorter men. Qwai is about 5'7" tall. I'm picking Johnson on points, but give Qwai a chance, especially if Johnson is not in his best shape.

This might be the fairest assessment I've seen from you In Re: A Jack Johnson Fight.
