I can't believe no one has done this yet.
How and who would vote if it was Wlad is too easy to predict. :!:

Assume that the venue's outside in either a heat wave or a cold snap.
    Rain and/or snow is optional.

Much is made of Vitali's stamina and, of 'modern' HWs might be the one most able to endure bad weather and 15+ rounds. But how badly would he be affected by the intangibles: Johnson's famed verbal assaults that would put Ali to shame, a "small" crowd, scoring by the referee/promoter, etc.?

    - Vitali by way of paying off Johnson
    - Vitali by early KO
    - Johnson by early KO
    - Johnson by way of Vitali quitting
    - Vitali by late KO
    - Johnson by late KO
    - I want to talk about Mayweather
    - Vitali by KO in rounds 15-45
    - Johnson by KO in rounds 15-45
    - Vitali on points
    - Johnson on points

JJ wins by forcing Vit Klit to quit in the 20th after having his skin shredded from his face

If Johnson got inside and somehow landed a right uppercut, Vitali's exhausted & not long for this world. If Johnson landed an uppercut combination, he would certainly Kermit straight to his dentist.

Getting inside, doing much more effective body work than Fat Nipple, getting him so angry/frustrated that he turns into Oliver McCall... could he survive the punishment it'd take to get there or be effective when tied up or resist an easy payday?

    JJ wins

he was a master at catching and parrying leads, which is half of vitalis offense.

he would counter a limited fighter like vitali all night long

Vitali's has to quit due to bad sunburn and Johnson is declared the winner at the close of the 36th round.

Johnson was basically a much faster version of Vitali. This wouldn't even be competitive. Vitali would either be shut out on the cards or he would quit on his stool.

Jack Johnson is nothing like VK, stylistically or otherwise. The only similarities they have is that they're HW boxing champions.

Jess Willard. A smaller and primitive version of Vitali KOed Johnson. Johnson was too small to hurt the big guy's like Willard and would be stopped by Vitali. Johnson was KTFO by much smaller punchers that is why he developed his style of not being hit. But Vitali would hit him......................I hate these things man, Tyson would blast Johnson. People forget how JJ ducked the good black fighters himself.

I was wondering when Willard would finally come up. I didn't write out a comparison; I'm more interested in what you all have to say about it. I don't believe in Vitali's stamina & think he's quite vulnerable to getting overly emotional in the ring, but obviously more accurate/crisp than Willard & much harder to uppercut than anyone Johnson faced. The question that can only be in a fantasy match-up is whether Vitali could have survived the weather conditions as long as Willard needed to in that fight.

Who do you think Johnson ducked?
