Would you take Choynski to beat Wlad? Maybe Willard?

Johnson knocked Ketchel clean out seconds later. Johnson was not hurt.

You are far from a 'realist'

You said Wlad would knock out a ATG HW which the first punch he throws.

What great HW did Wlad ever knock out with the first punch he threw?

So what?? He sure as hell wouldn't be getting up if Wlad knocked him down.

Believe me we'd soon find out who the 'realists' were if we had to put our own money down on the fight.

I 'said' Wlad would knockout Jack with the first 'meaningful' shot he landed.

What huge punching heavyweight did Johnson fight who had the size and ability of Wlad??

Jess Willlard destroyed Johnson with a big right, Wlad would hospitalise him.

Johnson was a green newcomer for choynski and you know it.

it was choynski who taught the kid Johnson how to fight, because Johnson with no skills was nothing.

Don't know him. Was he any good? But Johnson was new to boxing when he lost to Joe Choynski and hadn't even fought 10 fights.

Ive seen Johnson tho and he wouldn't be an easy target for Wlad to hit. Wlad was beaten by Williamson , who is a much lesser fighter than Johnson.

Wlad would not of made it past 10 rounds under the baking heat in Cuba , never mind 26 rounds to land a knock out blow on Johnson.

Plus Johnson took a dive in that fight to overturn his ban form America.

Took a dive my arse, he was flattened pure and simple.

He wouldn't need to go 26 rounds because it would be left right goodnight.

yes wlad chicken dances to a rousing folk tune of the 1890s on his way to an early ko by JOhnson who is much better than shot2**** neverman corrie sanders who did it in 2.

I've only just seen that fight, wlad was getting hurt in that fight and its remarkable that Williamson wasn't at least on par with wlad, having floored wlad.

So he would have been 58 by the time Louis fought Schmeling and Johnson was trying to get a fight with Louis??? How delusional. The difference between him and Schmeling was that Schmeling was 30/31 and Johnson nearly 60

johnson didnt have the luxury of gifting a retired noone a shot at the title, you mean.

    and wlad still lost.

boxer were not moronic enough to carry 50lbs of extra weight in a cardio sport back then, thats just a recent evolution.

no hes not. he'd destroy skillless guys like wach and pulev, who had no business being in a ring for a world title.

I'm sure that wasn't the point. Shit..I posted that almost 9 years ago. I don't know what I was on about...I'll try...
Forget Johnson's age, it's what he saw in Louis' style. Johnson thought Louis was vulnerable to a right hand. Johnson was old and never fought Louis. Schmeling later defeated Louis in the way Johnson thought Louis was vulnerable. That was the point I was making.
