Well Langford was 20 years old with a listed weight of 156 pounds. Sam says he was in the 140's

Jeannette was a raw novice and had a losing or .500 type of record during the series of the fights.

McVey was a teenager for all three fights and inexperienced.

That's when Johnson beat them. When the three matured, he would not go near them in the ring.

You ducked my question. Once again, In your mind when a champion losses he MUST re-match in the next fight? Just checking on your sanity here. A yes or no will do. Your reply is?

You can ask around, as champion Wlad pretty much fought everyone one there, aside from his brother.

There's no questioning facts. Wlad getting sparko'd and failing to rematch a well past prime Sanders is a red mark on his legacy.

There are no racial undertones to any of these matches.

I feel a bit like i'm talking to myself here...

You're a joke. If you think the champion MUST re-match after he looses. It seldom happened that way in history Dino. How the heck did you find this forum?

The fact that you cannot answer my question tells me everything. By the way, who are your favorite fighters. You will never tell me and I think we both know why. But step up to the plate and got for it.

Im making factual statements here , you're asking silly questions.. Stop sending me stupid questions and form your own arguments. . . Sanders was old , semi retired and on the way out when he blew Wlad out in embarrassing fashion. . An true ATG goes back in there and over turns the result.. Not Wlad.. He chose to fight two soup cans instead as he knew his big brother was going to avenge the defeat on his behalf.

What is the importance of racial overtones?

And in any case, i thought everything had racial undertones in modern society doesnt it?

It was the subject of the discussion as it began.

I didn't really think i'd be discussing it, still, three pages later due to its being absolutely apparent.

But even without the racially undertones, you're still discussing two fights that actually happened, and complaining about rematches. That is not the case here. Jones, meanwhile, is held accountable for failing to fight DM in almost any discussion i've been involved with about his legacy. It's the one thing people can beat him over the head about.

    If you say so.

Let's hear about all the fights that haven't been made due to racial undertones, say, in the last 10 years?

You're a joke. What your saying is every time a champion looses he must re-match in the next fight. You skip my questions because your fraudulent in reason. See through you we do. Duck, Duck, Duck.

Wlad lost fair and square. Sanders who was a replacement had great speed and power, and caught him. It happens in boxing. No excuses.

Langford did not weigh in for the Johnson fight ,but lets take their estimated weights Langford 156lbs Johnson 185lbs with Langford being the most experienced fighter, with 64 fights under his belt.
That is a 29lbs weight disparity and you delight in emphasising it every time you can!
Okay lets look at some other famous weight disparities.
    Jeffries v Choynski.52lbs
    Jeffries v Fitzsimmons1 . 39lbs
    Jeffries v Fitzsimmons 2.47lbs
    Jeffries vCorbett1.30lbs
    Jeffries v Corbett 2 . 30lbs
    Jeffries v Sharkey 1.27lbs
    Jeffries vSharkey2 . 30lbs
Jeffries vFinnegan .Estimated at at least 40lbs

I've never seen a post of yours on Jeffries, in which you even mention these weight differentials!
Clay Moyle the Langford expert ,states Johnson floored Langford 4 times, twice in the 6th rd for nine counts, and twice in the 8th rd.
He also says this about the 8th rd.
"The referee began to count and Jack stood by waiting to hit Sam again should he rise. After what seemed to many in attendance, like a very slow count,Sam rose at "nine,by grasping the rope"and pulling himself upright.
A combination of punches and pushes sent Sam back to the mat."
We dont know how many fights McVey had before his 3 bouts with Johnson what we do know is for the 3rd one he was 205lbs.

You are unicorn of a duck. Thanks to Clay's book we know the dishonorable Johnson ( I see some similarities between him and you ) pulled out of a signed contact to fight Langford in 1909. :nonono:nonono:nonono For shame. Embrace it.

Back to pivoting on Jeffries who ever lost a fight vs fine competition in his prime, all of whom were bigger than the Langford Johnson beat, had far more experience than the sub .500 Jeannette and were not teenagers like Sam Mcvey .

I think I'll stop there, but come show us the exact purse amount you said you knew on Johnson vs Johnson. You lie.

You see some similarities between you ducking my 7 times repeated request for a primary source in which Johnson refuses $30,000 to defend against any of the Black Trio? Yeah I guess you would.
    Johnson's price for a title defence was $30,000= £6000
While I believe Johnson should have honoured his contract to fight Langford in London ,the purse of £1000 was a long way short of $6000 .Johnson signed to fight Langford in October 1908 when he was broke and the NSC knew it and accordingly took advantage of that fact, the fight was to have taken place on22nd of Feb1909. Once he was Champion Johnson declared his price for a defence was now £6000 or $30,000 in US currency.
"Johnson outweighed Langford by about 30lbs". The Police Gazette, from Moyle's Langford book.
I also believe you should have honoured your challenge to fight me whilst you were in the UK, and your bet that the Fitzsimmons v Ruhlin fight was filmed. It's public knowledge you did neither, just as you didn't come up with any primary sources as requested.Basically you're full of ****, a blow hard full of **** and wind.
And you were surprised I did not want to reconcile with you! I wouldn't **** on a turd like you!LOL

Johnson didn't make a dime vs. Frank Moran. Moran fought for free. But did you know that Johnson declined a match vs Langford around the same time? At least he would have been paid had he fought Sam! It is plausible Johnson lied about the amount he was making to fight Moran instead. Johnson claimed he was making £6000 for Moran. What a joke, he made nothing!

I posted numbers headlines from known promoters. Johnson never signs, and when he did, he pulled out out of the contract.
