For me any fighter that can hang with, Petrolle, Callahan, Canzoneri, Chocolate, Larkin, would most properly have the beating of the rather one dimensional Mancini, no doubt Ray would make a fight of it, but yes, he didn't have the tools to post a win over a true ATG of British boxing stay safe buddy.
Great suggestion! However I feel there wont be many replies as sadly there seems to be rather less interest on here regarding UK greats from the past. Not being a d*ck, I know very little as well and threads like this make me want to find out more. I think P4P Berg has the better resume but I may go for Mancini in this one, simply because Ray was very old school and the guy who lost to Arguello could stand head to head with any former champ for guts. Happy to be schooled as this is rather an ignorant gut response from me, but hopefully some more answers with come this way!
