    Jack Loew is at it again, promises Pavlik KO over Vera

    "Brian Vera is going to discover on November 13 that his new world really is flat ... flat on his back," said Pavlik's trainer Jack Loew, from Team Pavlik’s training camp in California, PA, located outside Pittsburgh. "Kelly entered this training camp in superb condition, weighing less than 170 pounds. After hearing what Vera has already been saying about us, he should consider wearing a life vest into the ring because Kelly is taking him into deep water on November 13. Like the Ohio State Buckeyes, Kelly is looking to return to the top spot and it starts with the sinking of the U.S.S. Brian Vera of Austin, Texas. I hope there will be a microphone in Vera's corner so the world will hear them issue the order to abandon ship!"

    You don't make these kind of tough-guy statements about a lower tier boxer that everybody knows you should beat easy in a come-back/tune-up type fight. What a dick!

    Maybe if you were'nt such a **** trainer your boy would still be champion.

    Wasn't Pavlik once considered a top-10 pfp champion? Now his trainer is talking sh*t about knocking out a C level fighter? That's pathetic.

    Loew really needs to get a grip on reality, no amount of bull**** talk is going to work now, Pavlik needs to actually produce a performance against a live opponent worthy of the hype he has gotten, no more looking good against guys like Vera and Espino who are perfect for him.
