yeah, I mean i'm not saying that if Pavlik had Roach or Mayweather, that he would had beat Hopkins. But that would have help him to be competitive a little at least
This is true but for a fighter of his height and with his reach he should never be in a phone booth ..His power comes at the end of his punches ..But to be a very good boxer you have to be well rounded on the insdie as well as the outside .
Pavlik wasn't the only one who was exposed. Its one thing to hype your fighter, but this guy actually believed the hype.
I blame Loew alot but not entirely. He spun so mush propaganda that i think he began believing it himself. He had everyone convinced he had a plan A, B, and C. Unfortunately for him and Pavlik each plan consisted entirely of a double-jab right hand. I mean come on, Hopkins is a master at counter punching. How on earth was he not going to be able to counter the one combo that everyone on the face of the earth knows??
Never liked Loew for some reason and last night proved my suspisions about him right. He got lucky with a HUGE power punching MW.Kelly's size, power and talent are what made Loew who he is.Not the other way around. I knew Kelly was toast when all Loew could come up with was "double that jab".I was thinking the whole time "wjhat about the ****ing body. What about starting your attack with somethig other than the jab because obviously it aint working. Loew looked and behaved like a trainer who got lucky with 1 fighter. He had no secondary gameplan.
and this guy critized enzo as a trainer!loew is a nugget hopefully from now on he'll shut the **** up
