And Jack Pallance was interviewed and it was mentioned he was a fighter when he was younger. I most remember Jack Pallance for being in
the first Batman movie with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson.

Didn’t he do one-armed push ups at the Oscar ceremony, at like age 70?

In real life Palance would have wiped the floor with Nicholson.

On a side note when he was a bit younger not sure at what age he stopped he used to go to one of the Ukrainian festivals near me decked out in a traditional Ukrainian shirt.
He had a ranch in PA that he still kept his whole life.
WW2 vet also if I'm not mistaken.

The ultimate 'bad guy' in movies!
I've got a 90 minute tape of the buildup to the Patterson-Ali bout in Vegas in 11/65.
They were filming "The Professionals" in the Vegas desert at the time and the actors came to Vegas on days off being boxing fans. Woody Strode and Lee Marvin talked to Floyd and Palance talked to Ali which was a riot! Ali, always the gentleman in those moments, told Jack he would kick his butt to which Jack replied: "you don't look so tough! Let's go!". They got up and playfully sparred. I was cracking up! The tape was given me by a Canadian boxing fan; we exchanged boxing tapes 15 years ago. I'm sure it's available for the 'looking'.
