Jack Rafferty vs. Mark Chamberlain & Jack Turner vs. Nicolas Agustin Muguruza - Round by Round.

It wasn’t so long ago Chamberlain looked a dead cert for Saudi riches as Turki’s favourite fighter — now he’s in a fight just to save his career. Haven’t seen much of Rafferty myself, but this is a must-win for Mark if he wants to get back on track. Truth be told, it’d be an upset if he pulls it off here.

 

Rafferty is a come forward fighter, can be outboxed but is solid and can punch. Struggling to pick a winner here cause after the Padley loss I'm struggling to gauge just how good Chamberlain really is

 

It's a good UK card but I'm not sure the rest of the world has much interest.

 

This type of card used to be a little Friday night filler on Sky before a big show the day/week after. It’s DAZN’s only UK offering this month. What the hell are people paying 25 quid for?

 

This type of fight used to be a mid-week BBC or ITV.
I pay £14.99 for DAZN a month, and might not be worth it.

 

Only tuned in halfway through but this has been a fun fight.

 

Yeah I’ve probably bigged it up too much. Sky wouldn’t have allowed it.

Can remember the likes of Fowler v Fitzgerald on undercards. Nowadays a fight like that would be DAZN’s only UK offering in 2 months and we’d get 5 tinpot versions of the gloves are off promoting it.

 

Spatar wouldnt look out of place on misfits….
I can understand those bemoaning DAZNs recent offering…you wouldnt pay for Netflix and watch it once a month…but it wasn’t that long ago that there were next to no UK shows in August..I think the mistake DAZN made this month was making the Itauma fight PPV…

 

It's been a decent card so far, but for the prices they charge you should always expect more.

 

That's what you get when two Brit warriors go head to head in the ring. Foty contender. I had Chamberlain winning that fight by two rounds tho.

 

Very good main event and I thought Rafferty won by 2 rounds.

Chamberlain gave everything he had and a great effort.

Both men a credit to British Boxing.

No problems with a narrow victory either way or the actual draw result - these two deserve a rematch in a bigger event/arena.

Good to see Jack Turner come through a genuine test as well.

 

As predominantly a fan of British boxing, this sort of card is exactly what I want.

2 very well matched domestic fights, and some prospects, one in a good step up.

As others have said, this basically being the DAZN UK offering for the month just doesnt make the sub in anyway appealing. If this was still on tnt id be very happy with this as part of my monthly payment.
