This slimy senile bug eyed corrupt old man, violated his most basic duty as a referee and should be suspended without notice. You might believe that sounds extreme, but I will demonstrate good reason why this referee is one of the most corrupt, double dealing swindler referee going, since I don’t know when or who he could be compared to. He’s quite frankly in a league of his own.

Individuals such as this who are in given the honor of wearing the blue shirt only to desecrate it, are why Boxing is known as one of the most corrupt sports in the world. Simply because referees such as jack Reiss are more than happy to allow brown envelopes and discrimination/bias/agenda come between their duty

In Lomchenko vs Crolla, he was clearly placed on duty to protect Crolla. We’ve had people say that this guy is consistent, ''one the best '' they say etc. Yes I would agree that he’s a consistently ****ing corrupt.

Twice in this fight Jack Reiss revealed his true dishonest nature

Crolla was being pummeled against the ropes, shipping unanswered punishment and instead of stopping the fight or allowing Lomo to finish what he started, he jumps right in front of Crolla to protect him and conjures up a standing count when Crolla was never going to get knocked down had the ropes not been there.

Then when Crolla Is finally laid out and unresponsive Tyson Fury style, Jack Reiss actually does what he should have done with fury and that is wave the fight off. He didn't even give the boy 3 seconds, when Fury he gave 5 seconds to wake up and start moving.

Now lets go on to what he did or rather didn’t do in the Wilder Fury fight. Lets just first listen to Jack’s own words which shows the brazen favoritism he had for fury which already placed his position into disrepute

    Jack Reiss

    * In response to witness Fury slowly returning to his feet

‘’I was surprised but I must say, pleasantly. Again I have so much respect and admiration for Fury. That man is incredible. A fighter with incredible spirit

’It would have been a shame for to have stopped the fight. I couldn’t do it.’’

Jack Reiss was awestruck by Fury, mesmerized by his presence, and flattered to share the same ring with him.

You can bet your life had the tables been turned and Wilder was violently laid flat on his back, this crook, would count to 10 as if he was a military drill sergeant with two soldiers behind him, one holding a double barrel shotgun, the other a AK47 to each side of his head. There’d be no hesitation, no turning of the head to act as if he was distracted. Instead he would count with glee, accompanied with a wry smile, with the audience nodding in approval.

Let's continue with Jack Reiss telling on himself when it comes to serious misconduct and breach of the rules

    - '''So when I went down to count... not only did I get down, I scooted in so he could see my hand and hear my voice.'

    For those too stupid to understand what that means - He woke Tyson Fury up when he should have only been counting. A serious violation of the rules, which states as follows;

either man falls through weakness or otherwise, he must get up unassisted, 10 seconds to be allowed him to do so.

Finally before the fight he went inside both Wilder’s and Fury’s dressing. The difference is he had a few select special words of encouragement/support and reassurance for Fury and his team which he never had for Wilder.

This is the leaked conversation which Jack Reiss had with Fury and his team

‘’It’s a pleasure to meet you guys. One last thing I want to tell you is this, I really don’t care who wins the fight, but……. I care about Tyson Fury. that’s my only concern.

''That means I have to know you are ok at all times. So when it comes into effect, is if you’re in trouble. If you do get in trouble, I’m going to make sure I buck down and make sure I know what you’re thinking''

Thank for your time, it’s good to see you guys

This is why when Fury’s shoulders were still slouched over at 9.5 sceonds, Reiss threw out the rule book and didn’t resume the action immediately, or give his award to the other fighter (Wilder) as implied by the official rule book, but instead instructed Fury to walk around the ring as if he was doing a tour of the ring, for a further 10 seconds to recover.

How a ref that displays such bias and fanboy dom could be allowed to officiate any fight is a mystery. Mike Griffin displayed true professionalism and integrity when he didn’t succumb to Joshua’s stalling tactics to buy himself more time. He instead faithfully honored the legendary Queensbury Rules of the legendary art of boxing and stopped the fight when he needed to.

And AJ fans shouldn't be proud and celebrating Jack Reiss screwing Wilder over. Had he not then he would have been rightly awarded victor and the AJ Wilder would have already took place, saving AJ from the dishonor of getting beaten to a pulp to a 5 week replacement.

Would mind doing a similar thread on David Fields and his doctors timeout that saved Wilder in the Ortiz fight?

It gave Ortiz also time to recover because he punched himself out.

He was body popping all over the place and the referee stepped in, after he had time on the school, to give him some Shelly time.

I think you need to re-think that sentence.

The referee didn't take it upon himself to step in, the doctor was on the apron and it was he who called for the inspection.

So if there is anyone you should be complaining about it is the medical examiner.

Just goes to show, that some of you don't even know who or what you're complaining about, yet most have no issue with Jack Reiss who through both his words and actions, displayed clear corruption and bias.

Like I said in the OP had Wilder been the one lying there on the canvas with the ref stalling his count as if he had a brain defect which prohibited him from counting in sequence, most here would be up in arms crying as you are with the medic, even though Wilder wasn't even knocked down and had fully recovered at that point.

The difference being that Crolla was taking heavy punishment and wasn't close to winning on the cards. On the otherhand Fury was in the 12th round, he was fresh, ahead on all scorecarda, and was unaffected by the first knockdown. The situations aren't comparable. Fury got up in 10, deal with it.

You don't understand the rules little one.

If he makes it back on his feet at 10, he is out. That's why Charles Martin when rised to his feet at 10, he was counted out. No if's or buts.

And that's before even taking into account, the fact that the referee failed to command Fury to raise his gloves to ensure he is ok and not even taking into account the fact the ref failed to resume the action immediately the moment Fury was considered ok to continue.

These are things which cannot be disputed and why there is a far stronger argument of robbery against Wilder than there is about judges robbing a challenger who got floored twice and didn't do much at all during the fight besides survive with the assistance of a corrupt referee.

I don't like complimenting ref's because it always seems to come back and bite you . However in my opinion he is probably the best ref going around . Also wasn't Crolla face first on the canvas, pretty good reason not to count to 10 . Having said that I usually hate it when ref's don't count and then wave off .

Reiss did his job perfectly in Wilder-Fury.
The 10 count is the 10 count, not the 10 second count.
It doesn't have to be 100% accurate.

And the whole walking the fighter around thing is to make sure they are OK to continue.
    Boxing is still a sport.
