    This version of Sharkey looks so much more explosive, faster, stronger, and overall in better condition than the version of Sharkey we saw against Schmeling, Louis, Carnera, and Walker. I'd pick this guy over all of them except Louis in a heartbeat prime for prime. It's crazy to think that old past prime Dempsey knocked this guy practically dead. Truly a privilege to watch this kind of footage 100 years later.

    This is Sharkey at his best. Inconsistent, but very good fighter. Look at his defense, his head movement. He was unbelievable for a heavyweight.
