Aren´t you tired of constantly getting your ass whooped by logic and common sense?
Yeah and he got knocked out. What was your point again? I never said Byrd would appear to be a formidable puncher to Jack. Just that his power might be more of a factor against the smaller Sharkey than against freaking giants.
It's hard to believe that Sharkey would have a greater reach.
My point is that Sharkey fought every size, shape and style of heavyweight imaginable, and he proved to be a very difficult man to stop.
The idea that Byrd's power is going to be a major factor in this fight is frankly ridiculous!
The idea that Byrd's size is going to be a factor is also ridiculous!
What is not ridiculous in your opinion? Also, you put words in my mouth again. Never talked about Byrd's power being a MAJOR factor. You are not being reasonable at all.
For what it's worth, Byrd has a 3 inch reach advantage according to boxrec.
Let me rephrase then.
The only people who stopped Sharkey in any meaningful context in 50 + fights were Jack Dempsey, Primo Carnera, and Joe Louis (if it is fair to include Louis).
I am going to take a wild guess that Byrd wouldn't be in much danger of stopping him.
No, but thanks for question.
Yes,you are right. My mistake, sorry for that.
If Byrd lands too many of his shots, he could get a stoppage.
If someone gets knocked out, it's most definitely not Byrd.
Well if he does, then we would have to conclude Sharkey's chin to be worse than we thought.
Your time would probably be better spent, trying to work out who takes the decision.
Byrd stops him. Sharkey has nothing to keep Chris off him. He utterly lacks the twitch and reflexes and skill. Chris lands at will until a ref takes pity and stops the proceedings.
Yes- But he will be Sharkeys dad by the end of the bout.
