Presumably we are matching the version of Sharkey that Dempsey beat, against the current version of Povetkin? If so then it is an easy night for Sharkey.
Why would you pick the current version of Povetkin over any champion, or dominant contender in their prime?
There I would have to respectfully disagree. Sharkey was up there with almost anybody as a technician, and even if Povetkin was as good as you say, he does not have the youth to capitalize upon it.
