Definitely Povetkin looks like Ray Robinson compared to them. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
That's true but Dempsey was also past his prime then. Besides, Tunney was better than Hunter anyway. Let's get back to the topic. Watch prime Sharkey fights, he was extremely talented and he was really good boxer. He wasn't even small. I don't understand why are you so low on him.
He was absolutely not better than Hunter. Greater without a doubt, but not better. Ive seen 3 of the 10 Sharkey fights that I know of. He was 1-2 in those fights. Most film we have of him are losses. Which loss would you suggest was his prime?
Sharkey was in his prime in 1925-32 period. I'd say that he was in his prime against Dempsey (and he looked good in this fight) and he was way past his prime against Louis. Here are some other of his fights worth watching: This content is protected This content is protected
Incidentally I do rate Povetkin highly as a fighter, when he was in his prime! The fact is that he is on the slide, and he was when he fought David Price, and Hunter should have got the decision.
