Anyone own this fight, or seen it ? I remember having it on a VHS collection years ago, but maybe mislaid it in the last ten years. (Hopefully will turn up somehere.) I remember being very impressed with Sharkey's performance. Jack Sharkey in the 1920s was a much better fighter than he was later when he got that gift decision over Schmeling in 1932.
They met 4 times. Their last fight won by Sharkey in 5 rounds excists in a H/L version with sound, and a Silent full fight verison. Woller
