I missed it (PC issues for most of last night, didn't tune into the PPV until Martinez vs. Salido II was starting) and know the result now.

I've heard it was good, but was it REALLY good? Like, up there with Martinez vs. Salido II?

Should I really bother hunting it down on YouTube and watching the whole thing?

    On a scale 1-10, I'd say it's about 7, whereas Martinez-Salido was a 9.

I'm going to be honest, the knockdown in the 1st sounds intriguing but just picturing Jack's style and Groves' and how they might clash I'm not sure I'm going to buy in for the full remaining eleven after that. :yep

Was there lots of ebb and flow? Any surprises or drama after the KD? Or should I just STFU and watch it for posterity?

Was it a significantly "different" Jack than fought Dirrell? Or a "different" Groves than fought his last couple outings after Froch?

In the beginning yes, then Groves gassed and it sort of slowed in pace towards the end, there were some exciting moments though still here and there.

    116-111. JACK!!! :rofl

But it could be 115-112. One of the rounds I could have given it to Groves but I decided against it.

I haven't viewed it as i fell asleep Before it got started (time differences...).

But the stats from the fight that I've seen is:

Groves: 721 punches 154 connected (68/266 power punches)
    Jack: 506 punches 210 conneted (127/244 p p)

That doesn't really look close. But maybe GG showed great ring generalship because in numbers he didn't win much.

Edit: and also there is the 10-8 1st round.
