I'm a big fan of this fella. He's got a huge fight next up against Liam Wilson, also of Australia who's ranked number 2 in the world. If he beats him, he will have a shot at a World Title. He's only 25 ( 26 in December ) and has all the great attributes a boxer should have. He has the chin ( unlike me ) the physique, I.Q, Footwork, Hand speed, Power, Combination punching, ring craft as well as resilience, stamina and mental fortitude. He has that '' It '' factor. The flamboyance and flash about him. No question it's going to be a tough task in beating Wilson but I reckon he can do it. I'm backing in this fella to win a world title.
fight of the year this one here back in Australia. A very controversial decision. 2022 03 23 Jackson England v Paul Fleming - YouTube
Cool thanks! I'm watching it right now. Edit: Wow what a close fight! I don't know about that one judge with the wide score card.
Is this confirmed? Wilson is signed to "No Limit Boxing", but I don't think England is. England is attached to "Dragon Fire Boxing" and Tolj in Western Australia. England is high risk low reward for Wilson. England's next move is more likely to get some overseas fights and accrue ranking points. He did say that was his plan until COVID lockdown scuttled them.
Hi, Jackson is Trained by Jay Gray and now managed by Noel Thornberry. Jacksons father is Steven McIvor and grandfather Errol McIvor both fought professionally. Noel & Steven are 1st Cousins Word through the clan is the fight with Wilson has been discussed for a few years and they are ready to make it happen Uncle Rod
Dude Wilson went into the ring after Jackson won on Sunday and said he wants him next. Jackson agreed. And I do agree. England is a very high risk, low reward for Wilson.
Bit of an odd choice to be honest but better than a lot of options. It's a fight I will watch. On the real though I thought Cheeky beat him, just.
I'll make a prediction. He'll beat Wilson and fight for the World Title in 2024. Unless some dog house tactics keep him out, like they usually do in Boxing. Just ask Tim Tszyu.
