Could be a real fight. I had high hopes for Uzca prior to (and still to be honest) going into the Korobov fight. I really thought he might end up being legit but he didn't show a whole lot in that fight. JJ is taking a step up in class with this fight (based on my perception of Uzca versus Jackson's competition) and has been slowly climbing the ranks at SMW. The fight will be the main event on FS1 (PBC card). I think Uzca beats him in a solid s**** (sc-rap). Any thoughts on the fight?

You sure that is the main event, not Vazquez vs. Mendez?

This is the co-main event and a pretty good fight. http://i.imgur.com/FxCsChw.png

    Today there was weigh-in:
Julius Jackson 168 vs. Jose Uzcategui 165.75

Julius is Julian Jackson's son in case anyone doesn't know. He has immense power. There's not too much footage available for Uzca but I've checked the Medina and Korobov fights and you can tell he's solid.

Jackson is with Haymon and he's meant to win this fight but it's also a big step up for him. He never faced anyone on Uzca's level so we'll see how it will turn out for him. This is also the IBF eliminator - the winner will be DeGale's mandatory after his Bute fight.

I suppose it's the main event in my mind. Dan Rafael's schedule made it appear as the main, but I think you're correct.

I missed it but I'll certainly check it out. Thanks for the heads up.
