Headlining* on DAZN, twenty-eighth of June at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. Ten rounds scheduled at cruiserweight.

(*GRS vs. Dorticós is, maddeningly, relegated to co-main event)

    They have one common opponent:

    • Anderson da Silva - former UFC middleweight champion, defeated JCC Jr. via SD in 2021 and lost via UD to Paul in 2022.

This will technically be Jake Paul's second former world champion opponent, after Mike Tyson.

Interestingly, this was first in talks way back in 2021, when Paul was still an undefeated novice feasting on YouTubers and retired athletes from pro basketball and MMA. JCC Jr. priced himself out of those negotiations by asking for a 50-50 purse split.

Nearly four years later, it's on.

This will serve Paul to brag about how he fought against a real boxer, I hope he will be stopped...

If Chavez was even the slightest bit willing to get in shape, he would win. But, that is pretty unlikely. And, with the fight likely being fixed, it is even less likely. I know I won't waste my money to watch it regardless

This is a testament to the sorry state of boxing in the middle of the 2020's.

    Who actually beat Anderson Silva…

It doesn’t mean anything really, if Chavez took Silva seriously he wouldn’t have lost and if he takes Paul seriously he should KO him, unfortunately Chavez is a nutcase so who knows if he shows up in shape or not.

Even though I hope Chavez shows up in shape and KO’s Paul I hate that these fights are happening in the first place.
