So silly this gets to be a main event of a card that also includes a unified world championship bout (albeit women's). What a dork-ass timeline we've found ourselves in, where "Youtuber turned wannabe pugilist vs. UFC washout making their pro debut in this sport" outranks a title match.

Ho-hum, anyway, it's taking place, and it nominally headlines. Nothing to be done for it.

Serrano is a long slept on major women's talent, probably been top 5 p4p in their waters for the bulk of her career - but unfortunately hers is a dubiously needed rematch of a not terribly difficult victory.

So far it's just Ariel Helwani shilling and hyping up everybody on the undercard, saying this or that person is "must-see".

 

Somebody in the crowd boos and heckles Brazilian veteran William Silva when he gets introduced (probably a supporter of his opponent, unbeaten prospect Ashton Sylve) and Helwani pauses the proceedings to say "brother, we need to respect all fighters ".

He then spends a while kissing the ass of Jeremy "Lil Heathen" Stephens, who fought to a draw with José Aldo in April on the Roy Jones vs. Anthony Pettis undercard in a battle of UFC burnouts that was both men's pro boxing debut.

 

Paul comes out in a cowboy hat, neck full of bling and toothpick in his mouth, flanked by a 9' tall robot.

Hardy says that last time she let people in her circle get to her with all their comments about her not having a chance versus Serrano, and she is glad to have a second chance.

 

Helwani asks Nate to respond to Jake calling him a "bully" and saying he's going to "bully the bully".

Nate replies that Jake is clearly the only bully here and lists several of his transgressions, which gets the crowd on his side and putting heat on Jake. The reply from Jake is "boo yourselves, peasants! **** off!" and he promises to end Nate's career in combat sports.

Nate says that Jake is scared to enter a cage and wouldn't have the first idea how to defend a choke, and Jake flips out, saying he offered 10 million dollars for an MMA bout that Nate hasn't accepted yet. "After ****ing you up in boxing, I'm coming to MMA where I'll **** you up even worse. I'll choke you out, *****!"
