If you trust Hearn you obviously haven’t seen many Matchroom cards of late.

 

There's immense money behind Canelo - way beyond DLK. A lot of very important people connected to the sport in N. America are hyping Canelo like he's the next Mayweather Jr.

Jacobs would need to stop Canelo to win this fight. And he can't do that by not committing. He was intimidated by Golovkin and didn't dare sit down into his shots against GGG. If he fights Canelo the same way (and I think he will) - he'll get the same result.

Jacobs end game here is probably to box off the back foot all night and absolutely cry bloody murder when he gets robbed. This ensures the big money rematch.....where just maybe Canelo will feel the same shame that Pacquiao did in the IV fight and push harder for the KO himself...and Danny either lands the KO6 or he loses on the cards again.

Either way there's decent fights to be made on DAZN after these two huge paydays. GGG rematch, Andrade, Lemieux, Munugia , etc.

If he can convince enough mainstream media that he in fact loss this controversially and closely...then he's lined himself up for a few future big money fights. His not as marketable if he goes for the kill and gets KO'd himself. His incentives are just not there.

I suspect that Canelo & DLH are wary of Munugia. I actually think they will want him sooner rather than later - i.e. better to face him when he's still green and a bit wild. Munugia was game for GGG - so he'll probably bite if given the opportunity.

 

It’s true and I was naive enough to believe Golovkin would win on points when the truth is that they don’t want him to lose by any means.even if someone knocked Canelo out I’d be expecting something like a DQ to save him.
Best Jacobs can hope for on the cards is a draw and if he gets that he bloody well knows he won.

 

He's got a huge heart tho. Oscar even had a pet mouse that he cherished. Oscar has loyality I respect that.

 

The sad truth is .. If it goes to the judges Canelo wins the decision.no two ways about it . The only chance Danny has is to stop Canelo .
We all know this. The State Commission know we know this. Do they care??? HELL NO !! They have total control ,they answer to no one. They do as they wish. Its so sad for me to see the greatest sport in the world ruined by greed ,corruption &
$$$$$$$$$$$ After being in & around the game for 35 yrs I feel like its time to leave.But then a fight like Garcia-Spence comes along. I hope to Hell that is 100 % on the level. It has a chance its in TEXAS!!!
