It's a simple fact that black skin does the best at hiding facial damage. It's less likely to cut and bruises show up less. Golovkin, who is a pale Korean White Boy, barely had any marks on his face. Jacobs, who is black, had a busted up face (moreso in any of his previous fights), which means that Golovkin landed the better, more telling, effective shots.

It's too late. The fight is over. You can't overrate GG's performance. You're just trying too hard. You're looking like a **** poster. Like a kid who has Ice-cream screaming "I have some ice cream and you can't get none". You want attention.

I'm not trying to rate Golovkin's performance at all. I'm just saying he won convincingly.

You didn't see GG at the post fight interview. He did have marks in his face and his ear was damaged. Stop lying to posters. And your black white skin comments are ****en ******ed.

What I truly do believe is not up for debate, is the fact that Jacobs was given pity rounds. The fight was close, no doubt. But you had people on here giving Jacobs 1, 2, 3, and 5? That doesn't even make sense. He absolutely lost round 5. And in round 1, I don't see how it can be scored for Jacobs. Sure maybe a draw, but he did nothing to win that round. People expected him to lose so they were wowed when he was competitive.

Golovkin has been marked up in other fights, fights where he
had no respect whatsover for the other fighter's power and took
shots to the chin purposely. That clearly wasn't the case here.

Jacobs eyes being swollen and Golovkin having minor
marks, bruising, doesn't mean anything. No one disputes the
fact that Danny took punishment, I can point to numerous
fights where the winner looks like they went through a
blender and the loser appears untouched.

1,2,3 were just as easily Jacobs rounds as they were Golovkin, neither did much, You criticize Jacobs for round one
but Golovkin didn't do **** either. I liked Jacobs movement so I scored my preference. 5, I agree it was Golovkin as was 9, I don't see how anyone scored that for Danny.

I don't score on pity, I went in thinking Golovkin would win, Danny made him look
very vulnerable to movement and athleticism.

I wasn't saying GGG definitely won rounds 1-3. I was saying those rounds were so close, the people giving them all to Jacobs seems fishy to me. I don't really see how rounds 1 and 2 were much different, but people really weren't giving a rationale for scoring it for Jacobs. Golvkin was moving forward and more active. No one landed anything of note.

This wasn't a shot at you. Just something I notice people doing for the underdog. People scored Maidana over Floyd and Chilemba over Kovalev because they were underdogs and happened to be in close fights. I agree this may have been a bit closer, but the principle is the same.

Understood, we all (somewhat) score based on what we like. If nothing is going on
regarding effective punches (in this fight there wasn't), I personally like movement and evasiveness, hence
my scoring for Jacobs, the inverse to that, I know many will score for someone simply moving forward
and would've given them to Golovkin. Ultimately, those rounds could be considered toss ups
    based on what one likes.

Boxing is a SPORT and also a FORM OF ENTERTAINMENT. Why shouldn't we credit a guy that PRESSES FORWARD and CREATES ACTION and TAKES RISKS? The guy pressing forward and creating the action doesn't and shouldn't automatically win rounds, but he should receive credit that goes toward assessing a round. If no one presses forward, then you have an absolutely disgraceful situation like Rigondeaux-Agbeko (Round 4 where Agbeko threw 1 punch and Rigondeaux didn't bother doing much either).
