Americans tend to only support fighters once they have made it to the top of the sport.

They only jumped on board with Wilder very recently.

There are some good hardcore american fans but their casuals only want to bask in the glory and chant USA, They aren't interested until they can do that.

 

i agree but something else changed too there used to be boxing gyms in every catholic church it was on prime time tv some schools the boys club that's all gone now
