Right, but it was a very close fight. Sulecki is decent but I think Jacobs will handle him easy enough. Running GGG that close is better than a win against most MW's to be honest

Agree. I like Jacobs, he's got a lot to offer. I still think he's #2 at MW.

 

I actually think Sulecki is going to pose more problems than most think.

 

I like Jacobs too, he's a good man. However the op is correct in that he fought out of his skin against GGG, came in at his heaviest, cheated the weight and was roided out of his skull for that fight and allowed to get away with it.

In a way I'm glad he did approach it the way he did, otherwise the repercussions could have been fatal.

I had Jacobs winning by a round but it was a close fight that could have easily gone Golovkins way. Some very biased individuals on here had Jacobs winning 9-3!

 

Name them, so we can shame them.

That fight shows more about how truly great GGG is. He had to deal with a huge middleweight who also had a clear height advantage in the fight. That height advantage was so crucial to Jacobs being competitive. I think Jacobs did do really well, but how well he did is debatable. I think the height had a lot to do with it.
