Slightly better than Dominic Wade, Willie Monroe would take him to school. Derevyanchenko, Quigley, Murata, Aleem, Alimkhanully, Chebotarev, Morrison are all better MW prospects.

And Saunders>Quillin.

Let's put it this way. What middleweights out there today does Jacobs lose to? Is he the number two MW? Excluding Canelo, who does not fight at mw.

 

I can't believe that anybody is buying into all this BS surrounding this fight.

I would love to see Golovkin humbled, but Jakobs doesn't have the tools or the stomach for it.

I truly believe that Golovkin has a sadistic streak, and i can see him making Jakobs pay a painful price for all his talk. Jakobs will do what a lot have done in the early rounds against Golovkin and look good, but we all know after 3 or 4 rounds Golovkin will start to land the heavy stuff. I can see Golovkin dragging it out for a few rounds more than he needs to, in order to punish Jakobs and try to legitimise Jakobs as a worthy opponent.

The only person that GGG faced that had power to my knowledge was Lemieux and he never layed an ounce of leather on GGG the whole fight for the most part.
Jacobs has very good power and GGG has yet to be hit by someone with the power of Jacobs. Jacobs only loss was when he was on his deathbed and receiving chemo. If Jacobs lands a few clean punches first GGG will be in defensive mode the rest of the fight because he's never been put in a situation where another mw boxer's power is similar to his.

 

This is why he had to be paid so much to fight him. To the untrained eye it looked like he wanted cash out money in fear of being destroyed but really it was because Golovkin hadn't proved himself worthy of sharing a ring with the man who conquered Mora twice.

Dulorme, Jean, Lundy, Postol and Molina jr.....yeah the proverbial murderers row, only Postol is decent.
