I do not know nor do I care about the whole story surrounding Pacquiao. All I know is that he should have kept the injury to himself and taken his defeat like a man instead of bringing up the shoulder injury.

As for the reaction, if Brook wanted to continue he wouldn't have kept signalling to his eye, while looking vulnerably towards his corner to show he was not in any state to continue.

We have seen fighters with damaged orbitals who genuinely wanted to continue on, successfully hide the fact they had their retina injured.

Brook clearly wanted out and the pitiful protests was nothing more but theatre.

As for GGG, there are no excuses. For how can there be? He has taken out what has been put in front of him, with no exceptions.

Jacobs himself knows he is in for something truly traumatic.
