GBP really dropped the ball om Jacobs when they had him. They had a network backing them w TV dates and a good looking American fighter they could sell to the public. Unfortunately, GBP doesn't know how to bring up fighters from scratch.
Sadly, nowadays you become a draw by making an ass of yourself. Jacobs doesn't promote himself in this fashion and his opponent had 23 letters in his name and couldn't hype the fight at all.
i dont find Jacobs style as sellable... his style is too rugged to be a box office hit. Just not as smooth and creative enough
