This is not even a big fight, it was supposed to be in Dec on regular HBO but Jacobs decided to extort Golovkin's family for more money.

Jacobs needs to use his fast hands and feet to not get trapped by GGG on the ropes and to go on the offensive when he can. Not a GGG fan but has more power thanb any 160 fighter atm. Can only see a GGG KO by round 6. In my opinion Jacobs has to constantly hold and land enough body shots to tire GGG and try going for the KO. GGG's defence aint great and rarely moves head so can land more punches. Another strategy could be too try holdin some power back, lure GGG into thinkin he hasnt got the power to hurt him and try launching 1 all out attack and hope he catches GGG off guard and gets a KO win.

Golovkin's chin is good enough to withstand an early storm from Jacobs. As a result, Jacobs needs to trust his skills and speed and be patient(easier said than done on the big stage). The jab will be there all night for him, so establishing it will largely determine how much success he has.

If he starts out fast I think he'll just go out earlier.

I think rushing Golovkin is a bad idea. I think you want to limit exchanges and take away his jab. It would be boring but I thinks that's how it'll get done if it does. I just don't think Jacobs is who does it

Maybe so, but it might also give Jacobs his best chance of winning.

Don't know about starting fast, but he does need to get his respect early.

I want that Jacobs gives GGG a tough fight because I want to see GGG switching to a higher gear we have never seen yet.

He beat Quillan with a surprise attack. He may try it again. The longer it goes the more he gets broken down.

What makes this fight intriguing is we don't know what Jacobs will bring to this fight. We have no idea what type of a fighter Jacobs will be on Saturday Night, what style he will utilize, etc. We know what Golovkin's gonna do, but how Jacobs comes out is a complete mystery to me!

Ahh c'mon man, how can you say that. Jacobs is such a nice guy. He is American, had cancer and calls the doctors who saved his life MFers because they thought he would not box again.

Jacobs' Murican privilege allows him to extort money from the networks and promoters while only being drug tested for one time leading up to the fight. Did I mention how off the charts his ring I.Q. is despite NEVER actually making any adjustments in a fight. He is also such a great father and husbands, Lord knows how often he makes those declarations.

I am so sick of this Jacobs and his B.S.. I hope he takes his boat load of stolen money after this loss and goes away. Never before has a boxers gotten treated so well financially in response to lack of earning power for a fight and still acted like he deserved more. FFS they had to gouge the fans and other fighters on the card to pay this divas purse.

Jacobs might test Golovkin early, but he hired Hunter and SOB Ward to teach him how to cheat.................Jacobs has the fight in his home town, his personal referee, judges, boxing commission. All Jacobs has to do is hold, headbutt, throw low blows, hit behind the head, kick Golovkin in the balls, bite him, etc., all three judges have already given Jacobs a decision no matter if Jacobs is knocked down in every round, that's how stupid the promoter thinks the fans are. We saw how SOB fake fights, holding Kovalev's leg, low blows, etc., SOB did not fight, Kovalev did, but SOB had all three judges and his referee. Like I said, their plan is to cheat...............and what about Jacobs refusing to take a drug test? VADA will be on his side like they are for Wilder.................

I really don't think all of that will help Jacobs though. GGG will separate him from his senses within 3-4 rounds.
