The fight was regulated by new york state athletic commission and he abided by all its rules. . He didn't cheat in any way.

Both teams knew that. GGG's team consistently stated that the Jacobs fight was very dangerous, and Canelo's team are saying Chavez Jr is a threat too.

Early prediction, I reckon Canelo - Chavez Jr is going to be another closer than expected fight with Canelo winning a close UD.
