Goes over to Jacobs, Jacobs compliments him, Chavez Jr replies by crying about Jacobs' (accidental) head clashes. Jacobs, being the bigger man, apologizes. I would've told him to suck it up. God bless Jacobs, he was getting pelted with garbage because of Chavez's bull****. I have literally no clue what the appeal to that blue haired idiot is, but at least he seemed to lose many fans tonight. Should be banned from boxing for all I care. Just obnoxious.
The appeal is his name and wishful thinking. Mark my words he will get another relatively big money fight again. There are many more disciplined and better fighters who don't get the money and fights he does (because of his name). We don't live in a fair universe.
I think he's done only a fool would give him another big payday. Too many question marks, will he quit? Will he come in overweight? Will he fail the PED test? Or all of the above?
It was shameful of that boorish mob of a boxing crowd to throw beer cans and other objects at Danny Jacobs as he was being interviewed in the ring after Chavez has already left the ring and scurried away to his locker room like a bloated, drug addled rat. That crowd should have put respect on Jacobs name for still getting in the ring after all the sneaky, devious & wretched moves that Chavez pulled.
Danny is quite a warrior, lots of respect to him, he has battled so many bad things in his life. I hope all of his hopes and dreams come true for him. I have a lot of respect for him, as a man and fighter.
I saw another post, that poster said that Chavez Jr is nothing but a spoiled kid, that never had to work for anything, that individual is right to say that. Boxing is serious business, but Jr does not believe that. Danny is a true athlete that has had to work for everything he has, that is being a man, not a spoiled brat. Kudos to Daniel Jacobs for his display and effort.
