Jacobs vs ggg

Nobody is demanding it because we all what the result will be.

 

If boxing were a sane sport, with no Saunders or Canelo then Jacobs should be next.

Even though Wade might get an undeserved shot, and is with Haymon - that's an IBF mando. Jacobs has WBA underbelt and could have pursued a mando for super title... someone should go ask him why he hasn't.

In any case the reason Jacobs and Saunders aren't realistic options, is because they are already tentatively planned to meet each other in June I think.

 

So was Murray. So was Lemieux.

 

nah Jacobs isn't the second best 160 pounder. he has only had two not worthy fights in his career, getting sparked out by pirog and beating quilling in one round which didn't tell us much, he also doesn't have a belt

you really think Jacobs will fight GGG? he is happy playing pretend world champion and having nothing to do with ggg. id say if the wba enforced Jacobs as a mandatory for ggg he would drop the belt

 

He does say he is a champ.

He might be one soon, I'm calling it now - Saunders Jacobs this summer. Its not a done deal, but it is the intended next move for both guys.

Also, the WBA will elevate a regular belt to a super belt via unification. So if Jacobs beats Saunders, the position WBA takes should be interesting... but the WBA being the WBA doesnt want consolidation.

After all, they have 5 belts per weight class for a reason... uhhg.

Also, we know that Al Haymon will never feed one of his fighters to GGG.

You NEVER know what's going to happen in boxing...especially with a guy that drops him hands to his waist like GGG.
