Just curious. It would be a great middleweight fight given the current landscape.
very very good fight
I don't know if we'll ever see Jacobs, weigh in at 160 again.
Same here . I don't know if I heard correctly but someone from Jacobs camp before the fight said he wont be staying at 160 pounds for much longer.
Im not surprised Jacobs is nearly 6ft2 , making 160 pound limit has to be very difficult.
they could fight slightly above 160 as Lemieux is also getting too big for 160. if jacobs tries to bang it out he might get caught if he boxes for 12 rounds (like he should have did vs ggg) he'd win easily
Jacobs UD. Lemieux has a VERY good punchers chance though.
Algieri is already preparing special protein shakes
I could see Jacobs winning a ud but I could see david sparking him david is beast has too much power for anyone under heavyweight should have.I personally see david mauling him and knocking him out in the later rounds
Lemiuex knocks Jacobs out while being behind on the scorecards.
On paper Jacobs is better. But Lemieux hits harder I think, and he has a great faith in his ability to switch people off. If Jacobs boxes all night he wins a wide UD. But if he gets drawn into exchanges I can totally see David landing a few crushing shots to put him down and out.
Helluva fight, but I think Jacobs has the tools to outbox Lemieux and enough firepower to keep him humbled.
I could see Jacobs KOing Lemieux or winning a comfortable decision in a 10 round fight. I know I wasn't the only one to see that Jacobs had a nine round gas tank Saturday night.
Since Lemieux clearly hits harder than GGG, I'd give him a slight edge here, he won't try to outbox Danny, he'll be trying to do a Quillin on him from the opening bell. Although who knows how well their power will carry up to SMW, because at this point neither of them can make MW comfortably.
Why does Lemieux clearly hit harder than GGG?
what makes you think Lemieux hits harder then ggg?
