ali knocked out fighters foreman could not does that mean he hit harder? its about catching the fighter correctly
I asked someone this question before saturdays fight and he said Lemieux KO but I think Jacobs boxes him to a wide UD, he looks a level above. Of course David has the punchers chance(agree with cst80- hits harder than GGG).
I don't care, its irrelevant to the conversation, Lemieux has more one punch power than anyone at Middleweight including GGG, I've always thought that, GGG's power comes from his technique and its accumulation not one punch, David's is raw pure power and its one punch but lacking the technique, if he had skill level and delivery system, he's have guys being loaded into ambulances after every match.
ali had the left hook of frazier and the right hand of foreman, lennox's upper cut. and Holmes jab...what u getting at mate ??
BECAUSE DAVID DID NOT LAND FLUSH ON GGG ENOUGH STUPID. #SKILLSMATTER And David wasn't hitting himself in the head, so we can't really compare the effects of his punch on himself. Maybe he would have KO'd himself cold.
Lemieux can still make 160 fairly easy IMO theres clearly something wrong with the way he trains...if he had the body fat of ggg or jacobs he could make 154
Hell of a fight! Would like to see it, but Jacobs must near kill himself to make 160. Surely he will head up to super middle?
There's only one way to solve this imponderable. They need to share the ring again and when the bell goes, repeatedly punch themselves in the head and wait to see who gets KO'd first....
That's because GGG has a pretty damn good chin. Like I said before GGG punching David in the face and hurting him has nothing to do with David's power and his inability to land on GGGs face.
Good fight but I agree with several other posters I'm not sure Jacobs can make the weight. He looked skeletal at weigh in and the boil down with the quick increase of water weight really fatigued him in last two rounds of the GGG fight. I think a move to 168 would be smart.
