Another excellent match coming up. I used to think Jacobs would decision Quillin because of his better boxer skills. But seeing that KD from Mora I really feel Jacobs will get KO by Quillin. Quillin will be the bigger stronger guy and catch Jacobs on an exchange.
I am wondering if Quillin will manage to make weight or the fight will happen at a catch-weight. I have no doubt that Jackobs' glass chin will not survive 12 rounds against Quillin.
It won't be a CW, but there's a good chance Quillin won't make 160. Although he somehow did in his last "bout", so you never know.
Isn't Gaymon in deep with USADA? Fishy considering... I was also completely taken aback that Quillin made weight for Zerafa. He also came in absolutely gigantic too. Something like 180+ lbs. IIRC. I really have to wonder when Quillin will decide to move up. His body looks like it's ready to move up.
At the moment Quillin is much bigger than Jacobs. Style wise Jacobs is made for Quillin. Quillin will run first round but next few rounds he will connect and blast Jacobs away.
Qullien-Zerefa was a catch weight of 163 or something. Those couple ounces mean the world. I have my doubts PQ-DJ is at 160 and not a catch weight
Most are picking Quillin, really? I think Jacobs matches up well with him and should pull out a competitive UD.
I'd pick quillin. Not because he's very good, but because I was soooooo disapointed with jacob's last fight. Sooooo disapointed.
He got excited and lunged into a punch. It happens. Even to the best of them. He stood right back up. Oh, and he dropped Mora too in that fight. Everybody on here makes such a big deal over particular things to support their argument. That really is the reason? Just because Mora dropped him and because Quillin's last KO against a relative nobody was savage? Haha... I rated Quillin slightly higher than most in the last 18 months or so as most fans have deuced on him for not facing elite competition, but be prepared to be wrong here, fellas. Quillin's lowering volume will be his undoing in this fight. Jacobs will be able to keep him on the end of his punches.
It was not the kD, I understand that any punch can make anyone to take a knee, not big deal. That was not the problem. It was more like a general feeling, I didnt see him as comfortable as he should have been. It was just a feeling, nothing to do with the kd.
Not bigging up Jacobs but Pirog looked like he was an exceptional middleweight until he got injured. I don't think taking a definitive loss to him makes anyone a bad fighter. It's a huge shame that we never got to see him take on golovkin.
