(sadly) you could be right on. i saw Hearn's tweets earlier and i had no idea how to interpret them (ie, the reason the fight is off)
Don't know why it's off, but better for L Sullivan that it is. I thought this was a bad idea from the start, after by far his best win of his career, fighting against probably the best Middleweight non-beltholder, and one you can't bully. Another big step up, after his ceiling had been brutally exposed twice already when he did before. Either a nice domestic level fight for him, or someone nearer to his own level would be preferable. For Jacobs, I'd like to see a Derevyanchenko fight too, only not really advisable in his position as it is a very dangerous fight and he can take easier options until he gets his next titleshot. I would actually advise him to start campaining at the open 168 division.
Spike is the kind of fighter that makes Lemieux look like the GOAT...Imo he decapitates spike at anytime in the fight
Just a shame Jacobs is with matchroom and BJS is with Warren should've been facing each other instead of Martin Murray and now a Spike O'Sullivan replacement
Derevyachenko? YES! Tureano? Hell no! That dude needs to rest and a fight with Jacobs should in no way be sanctioned. Maybe in the future but not now.
It has nothing to do with Jacobs. Spike and his team want it but somebody higher up the food chain doesn't. I don't know how you concluded that Jacobs is sick from what Edwardo said. This content is protected
