You don't lure fighters for a freaking Mandatory fight Mr Businessman. This is basic stuff. Jacobs has a choice to either accept the purse bid or disgracefully back out of the fight. The fact he has been the Mandatory for like 20 months and not enforced it speaks volumes. Who does that? I guess he can just join Canelo as being a coward.

3G doesn't have to do anything at the end of the day. He can sit back and wait for the WBA to strip Jacobs for not accepting the fight. Then he can hold up another strap he won while sitting on the couch.

No, 3G blows Jacobs away easy. And you are not worthy of using that Chuck Norris emoticon. :chuck::chuck::icon_domokun:

This goes beyond Jacobs. Ggg doesn't have to fight Jacobs as it will do nothing for his legacy or his brand. The advice I'm giving Ggg is for any fighter that will enhance his legacy and his brand as I have already mentioned.

GGG needs Canelo, Ward, and maybe James Degale if he does well at 168. I dont know who else would be powerfull and skilled enough not to be considered a mismatch. Kovalev would be a crazy matchup, but I dont think either wants it. He s not an ATG at this moment, and I dont think he becomes one if be beats just only one of them. Who do you think from the lower weights 147-154 could become a menace to Golovkin in a real way in the next 2-3 years?

So at the end of the day, is Jacobs gonna vacate his belt or what?

And yet Jacobs wonders why he's not a bigger star in boxing. This is his chance. If he beats GGG, then he can be the talk of boxing afterwards.

160 is trash the jacobs fight was a waste of time anyway he's chinny and not good. Ggg should have moved to 168 and he would have people lined up around the block to fight him.

Like who? Ward has moved up. Which SMW is desperate to fight him? Degale? Jack? Zurdo? I don't think any of those fights will have fans too excited.

I agree completely: Jacobs should dare to be great, and push to get the fight with Golovkin made.

More excited than facing guys like jacobs cej or Saunders. These guys are bigger men at 168 they will take ggg on with no problems they don't fear him.

I think people would quite like to see the latter. They also want to see if anyone at 160 can actually test him. Plenty of people think Canelo has a chance at actually beating him post Brook.

I'm also not so sure the SMW's would be so keen to lace them up for the money they'd be offered. At the minute GGG can't majorly sell a PPV on his own - he needs to beat Canelo to open that door IMO - and so I think those fights might struggle to be made too right now.

I disagree I think people would line up to face him ready to knock his head off they're tired of all this hype. Guys at 168 are not going to be intimidated by ggg. Also who wants to see ggg knock out over matched guys at 160? The division is trash and he's been doing that his whole career at 160.

Maybe. I'd certainly like that to be the case but I don't think any of the three champs above serve as enough of a draw to generate the cash they'd want to face him.

If he beats Canelo though. That money is there and he'll never have trouble getting anyone in the ring again.
