Good lord...it's not the same. And it's clear you won't accept why. Basically, with your type of logic, why should any two guys fight when all they have to do is wait a year and a half and that means it's bigger.

How do you figure that when I said over smd over in my post I don't care about how much they make or the waiting game.
As for differences the difference is Alvarez is a huge mega star and GGG is not.

K2/GGG being mandatory agreed to bypass the fight under the excuse of making a potential one bigger.
Jacobs being mandatory has said he'll wait a while under the excuse of trying to make a potential fight bigger.
I'm open to your reasoning for why its different but the only thing you've come up with is your opinion that its different because to you GGG wants to fight everybody and no one wants to fight him.

Its just like if GGG calls you out you have to fight or its a duck but if you call GGG out its just bs and they don't even have to at least consider it.

Its like you guys make up reasoning for why something is other than what actually happened.

"Wanting it to be much bigger" is an excuse, not only from Jacob's team, but when Cotto and Alvarez did the same. 3G didn't wait because the fight needed to be bigger, he took step aside money because they knew there was zero chance Cotto or Alvarez would fight 3G, so they got money in the interim. Like I said, this isn't anything new. IT happens all the time. Only difference is, I've been around long enough to see it happen over and over.

Eunich Jr is wasting everyone's time just like Jacobs. The Eunich's are currently extorting more money from Sky sports knowing full well they will not have their demands met thus using that an excuse to duck GGG.

They will extend these faux negotations until K2 has no option than to make other arrangements. They are wasting everyone's valuable time not unlike what Froch did.

They are all scum of the Earth yet some of you laud them for their appauling levels of greed and cowardice.,

Stop making excuses for ggg. There's absolutely no evidence he wants to make any fight with any fighter with a pulse. Onus is on him and K2.

canelo has no pulse? Offered BJS and Eubanks career high paydays. Had fights with pirog and lee lined up that fell through. Fought Lemieux last year. Jacobs won't fight him. Who else in the middleweight division is left?

I disagree but that is your opinion so respect for having I see thing differently but it is what it is.

The most important thing is the fights happening, I feel I can praise/criticize fighters fairly regardless if I'm a fan or not differences of opinion are ultimately what make sports fun so its all cool with me.

Yeah, GGG took some step aside money because he didn't want to be stuck on a shelf for a year and a half waiting for a fight that might never happen. He took the step aside money so that he could make fights with people who were actually willing to fight him. He fights three or four times a year unlike those other clowns who only want to fight once every year or two.

Who needs a year and a half to prepare for a fight? Unless you've just been in a terrible car accident and need to relearn how to walk there is no good reason to dilly dally like that. You double your money like a man by fighting twice, earning a fair wage, instead of extorting people and conniving.

BJS team said they were never offered that amount of money. BJS gave 2 offers one for alot of money and one for less. The lesser offer stipulated for the fight to happen in the UK. GGG said he did not want to fight him in the UK.

Its the last belt and it would of been nice to see GGG get it especially with all this talk about unifying. It also would of been a statement to go out in front of BJS fans and rip it from him.

    Correct.

He took step aside money twice. And within that timeframe, he won the IBF belt, he cleared up a mandatory, and he thought that he was going to unify with Canelo.

If he'd have enforced his mandatory, Cotto would have ran.

You can respect Jacobs' honesty, but his actions are completely different.

    I'm a big fan of Billy's.

It's going to take a huge payday to lure him.

At the moment, it's not in his best interests to take the fight. He's only just won the belt, he's been injured, and GG holds all of the other straps. If GG was to beat him convincingly, Billy would be left out in the cold. He wouldn't be able to fight for any of the other belts afterwards.

He's in the same predicament as Jacobs.

I respect everyone's circumstances, but it's bad for us fans and it must be incredibly frustrating for GG.

Did Golovkin give a reason as to why he wouldn't fight in the UK? :huh
