Did look a bit panicky but there's a reason for that, didn't Hearn say Brooks was up on the cards lol?
The theory is bulletproof! Keep in mind, these are the same posters who bash Golovkin for saying he let Brook trade to have a brawl. But then praise Floyd for saying that he let Maidana be competitive to make the fight exciting. Logic isn't a strong point. Racially driven agendas however...
Jacobs gonna have one of those rare nights where the perfect fight is fought, and the supposed unstoppable force is made to look human in everyone's eyes.
The GGG fanboys are gonna be devestated after this fight, after seeing Jacobs take GGG to deep water then drowning him.
Take Golovkin into deep waters like he did Pirog? Pirog sure put Jacobs on the canvas, flat on his back!!!
I just want it to be a fair fight with unbiased ref and judges. That's all I want. Let the best man win.
jacobs believes he can win, only in so far as his unrealistic expectations allow him to see himself winning. right now, there is nothing to challenge the reality he has created in his own mind. he has chosen to believe, by his own admission, that golovkin was exposed by brook, and that he knows that he can beat him now. there will be no escaping reality once that bell sounds, and thats when you are going to see how tough he really isnt.
I like both Jacobs and Golovkin...they both seem like decent Human beings...both well spoken..Modest and I think they Genuinely seem to like each other....having said that the Bull Sh*t stops when that bell Rings...and although I think Golovkin should win I give Jacobs a Live Chance.!!!
Think about it this way: it's going to take a hell of a fighter to beat GGG, someone with a complete set of skills and no glaring deficiencies in any area. Is Jacobs that guy? People have questioned Jacobs chin, and rightly so. Mora put him right on his butt as Jacobs attempted to stalk him along the ropes. What will happen if he tries to pressure G? Lights out. Is Jacobs stellar at fighting off the back foot as an alternative? I don't think so. But what's most concerning to me is Jacobs defense, or lack thereof. Look at how he was flailing away at Quillin. Granted he had him hurt, but he was leaving himself wide open for a counter had his opponent had a clearer head. If he leaves himself open like that against G we all know what's gonna happen.
What if Jacobs wins? What happends with the GGG v Saunders fight? Would Saunders just face Jacobs instead or just scrap it all together? I'd like to see an undisputed champ regardless!
Was thinking about the whole Jacobs chin thing yesterday and if it really is THAT bad. The Pirog KO was beautifully setup and a big shot, so I'm not going to use that as solid evidence. I know Mora dropped him which is a bad sign but aside from that has he ever looked really shaken up at all? I seem to recall Smith having him in some bother
