http://www.boxrec.com/date_search.php?yyyy=2008&mm=02&dd=16 On the Pavlik/Taylor II undercard. What do you guys make of this fight? Also, the undefeated Ronald Hearns is apparently on the card. Anyone know much about this guy?
Judah should squash Quintana. Ronald Hearns, Tommys son, is doing a Chavez Jr, looking good knocking out patsies. However, Ronalds tomato cans seem just a little better than Julio Jr's.
Whoa! This should be a hell of a fight. I'll have to think about it, but my initial feeling is that Quintana will pull off a win here.
SUPER!!!! JUDAH!!!! all the way baby. I hope he knocks quintana the f out and gets his ass back in the picture.
I love Zab. I think he will get past Quintana, but I am skeptical that he poses a major threat to someone like Paul Williams.
I was looking Judah's record on boxrec.com and I completely forgot that he already has 5 loses on his record and he's only 29 or so. If he doesn't watch it he's going to catch up to Arturo Gatti soon. He's lost to some people he had no business losing to!
That is an excellent match between skillful lefthanded boxers. I think this fight makes sense and it's doubly satisfying cause that means he's not fighting Oscar ( which is good for Zab) and not sharing the same ring with Mosley ( which is good for Shane).
Judah-Quintana is a great matchup and one that should take place. The winner will advance further along the line of contention and the loser will likely be at the end of the road, or back at square 1. Both guys are crafty, tricky, and southpaws. Judah has the advantage in power and speed. Quintana is probably more consistent and steadier. No pick just yet (I see this as a 50/50 fight)
Thats what people said about Baldomir. And, Quintana is much more skillful. I see Judah doing the two-step sometime during the fight. :yep
I think if Judah can sort himself out he'll really be a threat. Was watching some of his past fights this week and I've forgotten how good he actually watch. I know he got knocked out, but the first round of the Tzsyu fight he was masterful. Look how fast he is there. I'd love for him to get back into the picture. I think he needs a new trainer tho, a real motivator, someone who can get his head into gear because he has all the physical traits needed.
Although I'm a fan of Judah I have the agree with you on that one. None the less I'm hoping for a Judan win, this can really get him back to being a contender again.
