I was on myspace's boxing board... A few boxers also post there... lately, this guy came on and post this in the bulletin and it was thumb tacked on the top of the board.... He was nice enough to respond to everyone's comments... But this is what he wrote.... It is unfortunate that a fighter with a 45-6 record who has 39 kos (should be 40 becuase in my last fight i knocked my opponent out cold at 2:59 of the final round only to see the referee make an error and send it to that cards) cant find a fight. My manager has mentioned my name to just about every promoter both for a contract as well as a fight against ANYONE at 175 lbs as long as the offer is somewhat reasonable. I am not trying to sound cocky or concided but hopefully one of these top dawgs or rising prospects at 175 lbs or even cruiserweight will step up and fight me. We will continue to look for fights and hopefully some of these guys will stop ducking me. If you know if any potential fights please feel free to message me because I am in shape and have been in the gym training. Jaffa Ballogou
I remember him, he could really whack. Dare I say any weak chin challenger could potentially be in deep water against him still but he must be like 107 by now, hopefully he doesnt get a fight.
He like 40 which is 280 in dog years... but 107 is close enough... He's told us some of the people that turned him down or got at him about doing a fight and then turning him down... He's not happy about it...
Ballogou once KO'd JM Mormeck cold in sparring... He recently worked with Povetkin getting him ready for the Byrd fight...
I just heard about that not too long ago.... WOW.. its hard to believe that knowing that he started his career fighting Ike Quartey at welterweight... wow
I have his fight against Guillermo Jones. That was an 8 rounder that he clearly lost, but showed he was undoubtedly world class. Never got that big break.
I never seen that fight.. Guillermo was another guy who started at jr middleweight and went all the way to cruiser....
