Headlining a show at the Royale Nightclub here in Boston on December thirteenth. I'm considering going, been a while since my last night of local fights. Brown of Schenectady is 26 with an 18-2 record, and notably held Guido Schramm to a MD in his first loss. His best actual victory to date is over Massachusetts mainstay Khiary Gray-Pitts. Brown is ranked #231 of 2,338 at 140lbs (top 10% in the world). Ogundo is my age, 43, and has an ugly record of 17-16 with fourteen knockouts, but is coming directly off a stoppage loss of Lamont Peterson. Granted that was two years ago now, and it was the since-retired Peterson's third consecutive stoppage loss.
...crickets. Sadly this is the only remotely meaningful boxing event in MA for the next few months. I check the calendar regularly, and it's this bad almost year-long.
