Haye was a great cruiserweight and at the moment ranks comfortably above Opetaia and Haye is top 3 or 4 imo. Opetaia has nowhere near finished his career yet so who knows what the next few years bring. Haye by late stoppage.

That's pretty much my opinion with Carlos pretty close up there aswell.

 

Jai has to prove a lot more before I can pick him against Haye. He’s talented but he need to clean out Cruiser.

 

Loved watching Haye, but I think I’d go with Opetaia. Jai is a much better boxer and throws a mean cross whenever his opponent makes a mistake, which Haye made a lot of.

 

Briedis is better than Haye and Opetaia beat him twice.

 

yes but think about it this way, in both fights with breidis, when jai got hurt by big bombs he went on the defensive. haye was fast and if he hurt jai he would be able to follow up with uppercuts and looping shots

 

Too early to be certain, but as it stands I'd pick Haye.

Triangle theories I know, but Breidis beats Haye.

Jai has come through the fire twice againts an ATG cruiser in Breidies, albeit post-prime, and whilst it would be interesting if he got tagged by Haye who was as explosive as they come, Jai is not Macarinelli or Mormeck either.

Opetiaia wins, probably after some hairy moments where Haye gasses after emptying his tank.

Or it could maybe even play out like Haye vs Wlad, if Jai could keep Haye overly-cautious

 

Haye by murder. Jai gets wayyyy too much credit for the Breidis fights. People saying he came through the fire, listen Breidis was way way beyond his prime and if Jai was so great it shouldn’t have ever got to a point where he was even in the fire.

Prime Haye is number 3 all time at cruiser, without a doubt. If he gets you hurt, you are getting finished and thats it.
