Kenshiro Teraji has a loss on his record but that didn't stop him from becoming the lineal champ for 108 and a two division champ with possibly more to come.
Yuri Akui had two TKO losses including one to Nakatani, and that didn't prevent him from winning a title at 112. Currently age 29, rumors say he is unifying with Teraji next.
Masamichi Yabuki had 3 losses to the likes of Nakatani and Akui before he fought Teraji and upset him. He lost the immediate rematch but returned to win again two years later by defeating Nontshinga.
Anthony Olascuaga fought Teraji on short notice only in his 6th fight of his career and lost, but that led to him getting on good terms with Teiken which helped him get 4 straight Amazon Prime Japan cards and get a world title as well.
Takuma and Tanaka has losses but I believe they will regain a belt again, same for the Shigeoka brothers.

Off the top of my head, those guys came to my mind. I really feel happy for Olascuaga who used his loss to the most to lead to good money opportunities and a belt.

Nyika will be a heavy bag, a very ardent, stubborn heavy bag.

Nyika has no upper torso movement, he’ll absorb abnormal punishment due to the major affair because he wants to be a big shot and who wouldn’t under the opportunity presented to him.

Opetaia by brutal beat down mid rounds tko.

Very intense. David is coming to win, not to rollover. Whether he can do that, we will see.

Looks like Nyika might have succeeded in p1ssing Opetaia off.

    Big mistake! Huge!

Jai has the look like he's paid the cost to get where he is. Hard painful career. All the risk and pain. Doesn't want some guy (no disrespect) parachuting in and taking it from him when it counts the most. Yeah he's pissed off!

Maybe some think this is too much to soon for David but remember Jai jumped from basically domestic level competition to in with an absolute beast in Breidis.

I think this has the potential to be real interesting.

This will go down with Mundine-Green and Ellis-Michael as a classic all aussie clash.
